CHEVY CHASE BALLROOM Sunday Salsa & Rueda Social Parties and classes 5207 Wisc. Ave, NW DC

2:30pm - 3:15pm Drop-in beginner Social Ballroom, Swing and Tango taught by Terry Chasteen and authentic Brazilian Samba taught by an "AUTHENTIC" Brazilian, Danielle Areco.

3:15pm-4:00pm Beginner, intermediate and advanced Salsa on 1 in studio B of the Chevy Chase Ballroom (two teachers will be made available for two levels as necessary).

4:00pm-7:00pm Beginner and Intermediate Salsa Rueda in studio B with Steve Denlinger of Rueda USA assisted by Terry and followed by teacher-assisted Salsa Rueda and dancing.

6:00pm-7:30pm Beginner and Intermediate Salsa on 2, New York Style (Mambo) Terry and a second teacher in studio B.

7:30pm-10:30pm Open dancing in studio A to the "BEST" Salsa and Latin music plus monthly scheduled performances by some of Metropolitan Washington's top Salsa and Rueda dance companies.

...DJ "Andy" aka "El Mas Bailable" and his music
system will provide the music entertainment!...

PLENTY OF SNACKS & REFRESHMENTS PROVIDED
(For those who are "Smoke-sensitive", the Chevy Chase Ballroom is "Smoke-free")

No previous dance experience or partner necessary.
There will be a beginner level class in each dance style and everyone rotates throughout the classes.

ADMISSION: $12.00 for the first class, $18.00 for two classes and $23.00 for 3 classes. $10.00 Full-time students with ID, $12.00 for the dance only from 7:30 until 10:30 pm for those not taking the classes (so come to a class...it doesn't cost any you anything extra).

Location: The Chevy Chase Ballroom & DanceSport Center - 5207 Wisc Ave., NW, Washington DC (above Paul's Liquor, located 1/2 block South of the Jennifer Street exit of the Friendship Heights red line Metro. Plenty of free parking usually available at the adjacent Bank of America at the intersection of Harrison and Wisconsin Avenues, NW during non-banking hours).
